Results for the Sept. 16th 2CW Show, Unfinished Business

2CW returned to Syracuse, NY tonight at the Pastime Athletic Club with Unfinished Business. Just over 300 loud and excited wrestling fans jammed the building to its capacity. They were treated to a great night of wrestling action and some brutality in the Main Event.

The opening contest saw two young up and coming men fight it out in what was a great way to start the night. AJAX from All Money is Legal being the smaller of the two used his quickness to start this match off with face paced action but soon Jason Axe used his size to his advantage and shut down AJAX. Soon the action spilled to the floor and Axe took a nasty hit into the guardrail and then into the ring steps. OUCH! Once back in the ring and after some close two counts, Axe used a nasty looking cradle suplex into a powerbomb for the pin. What a great way to start what was an amazing night of Wrestling.

The second match of the night saw the tag team of The Killer Steves take on a new tag team to 2CW fans The Dynasty's. After the Steves turned on "Dynamite" Derek in Utica he went to 2CW management to get a match against the Steves and got a tag team partner in Dan Dynasty. This was a very high powered match that had the crowd going the whole time. A lot of double teaming from The Steves as they are like many of the classic tag teams and cut the ring in half and keep one man in the ring to work on. After many attempts from Dan to get in the ring he finally got in with the hot tag and all hell broke lose as all four men went at it. The pin came after an inside cradle from Derek on Steve Kruz which was reversed over by Studly which then was reversed over by Dan then he turned it back to which Studly turn it back think Kruz was pinning Derek but went in reality Derek pinned Kruz for the win. WOW! Did you get all that? All in all a very good tag match which saw the Dynasty's go over.

MATCH #3

Johnny Law's Challenge to "Strangler" Steve King

What we had here was a 6-month feud coming to a head as the Strangler wants his 2CW contract that he has rightfully won. Johnny Law has said he will give the Strangler his contract if he would accept and beat him in any type of match that he wanted. The Strangler came to the ring and says he would fight in a Cage match, a ring filled with scorpions, TLC or any thing else that Law could come up with as long as he gets his contract. Well Law came up with one that he figured he would never lose to anyone since he is a cop and that was a donut eating contest. Yes that is right folks we had a donut eating contest on a wrestling show and the fans loved it. Law won after he stuffed a few in his pants then threw a couple into the crowd before the time was up. 2CW official Matt Patterson then came to the ring and says we are not doing it this way and we will have a real pro wrestling match as this is not a Monday wrestling show or that stuff they show on Sci-Fi on Tuesdays. They rang the bell and the Strangler choke out the Fat Cop! He then finally got his contract to be in 2CW only to be served with a restraining order by the smug Law that said he cannot be within 200yds of any 2CW event. Well I guess he just got served by the Law, Johnny Law!

In what was considered the high-flying ass kicking in your face match of the night Slyck Wagner Brown was taking to limit by Dizzie from All Money is Legal. These guys matched move per move throughout while taking the action in and out of the ring. The fans were divided on whom to cheer for in this bout as both men have respect with the people. The match finally broke down to a fight after a series of chops back and forth between the two that turned into fists from Brown. After a few near falls Brown won with a back breaker into a pin for the three count. In what has been a staple of Brown's matches in 2CW he showed the respect he has for the business and his fellow wrestler by helping Dizzie up and raising his hand for the very pleased crowd. After leaving the ring both men signed autographs for the fans at ringside as we went into Intermission.

During the Intermission 2CW Official Matt Patterson came to the ring with senior referee Keith Harris and a bin with papers inside. He made the announcement that 2CW will be returning to Syracuse and The Pastime Athletic Club in November on the 18th and that this would be a special evening for the fans. What he had in the bin were all the names of 2CW wrestlers and that he would pick a fan out of the crowd and that the fan would pick two names out and those two would wrestle in a match were all the fans in the front row would have leather straps! A young man came to the ring and picked out the names and those two lucky men were Gordy Wallace and Zaquary Springate III. So on November 18th in Syracuse, NY Gordy Wallace will take on Zaquary Springate III in fans in the front row bring leather straps match.

This match came about after the July 15th Show from the Oncenter Convention Center where Love interfered in a Flag Match that Atlas and Springate were having and cost Atlas the match. Atlas got Gordy to team up with him against Love and Springate in this special attraction. But before we get to the wrestling we had another incident with the unpredictable JD Love. He decided once again that he wanted to give a lucky fella, or lady a lapdance. He runs out into the crowd and finds a young man and gives this guy something he will never ever forget and that my friend is sad as he might need therapy. After Love does his dance he is met in the crowd by Gordy who has seen enough. They fight through the crowd and are soon joined by Springate who takes over on Gordy in the crowd as Love head back to the ring. Finally we get all four men back in the ring and the match is started. Lots of back and forth action with some great spots including a double ass spot that most fans do not want to see again. EWWWW! The finish comes after Love and Atlas fight to the back and Springate and Gordy are left in the ring and Gordy is laid out by a springboard elbow which would have made The Great Muta proud. Then Springate goes outside the ring and grabs a chair and uses it on Gordy. The referee called for the bell and Springate and Love were disqualified. Then in what was just a crazy turn of events Springate goes under the ring and comes out with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire! He brings it into the ring to use on Gordy only to have Gordy get the bat and use it on him. Gordy raked the barbed wire over the forehead and across the back of Springate. Springate was infuriated now and lost it and grabbed the mic and challenged any one of those fans in the front row to hit him with a strap in November and also laid out a challenge to Gordy for the October 21st show in Utica NY as he wants an Anything Goes Match. He said he will bring barbed wire, light bulbs, glass it doesn't matter as He wants Gordy in a bad way!

Violet Flame comes out to the ring and says that the last time she was in Syracuse she laid out a challenge to anyone and it did not go her way. But that tonight would be different as she said we have a celebrity in the crowd and that is who she would challenge. She then points to a fan in the first row of the bleachers and say that this is the same man that she beat in Utica last month at the 2CW show. She said if he wants to try his luck again bring it and she will beat him again. He decides to accept the challenge and he comes to ring. Once in the ring he just overpowers Violet as he must weigh close to 350lbs. She gets him down after a cross body block that he catches but she does him in with a kiss. She then chokes and kicks the big man only to have him get to his feet and try to squash her in the corner. She moves and knocks him down and applies the claw with both hands to his mid section and he submits. The crowd starts to chant "You tapped out" to the big man as Violet celebrates a Huge victory.

After the July 15th show when Hyson put Isys through a table with a top rope double stomp these two agreed to get in the ring again with a good ol' fashion Dog Collar match. After both men made it out to the ring Hyson put the collar on first but was messing with Ephex's head and slapping the chain around the ring and trying to beat him with it. After a few attempts Ephex finally was going to put it on but he cheap shots' Hyson and beats him with the chain till he is bloody freaking mess. Now the match finally starts and these two battle all over the arena with a chain connecting the two of them. By the time they make it back to the ring they both are bleeding everywhere. Hyson hits the Acid drop for a two count as Ephex gets his leg on the rope. The fans are going nuts by this point as this was an amazing and brutal match. After the referee gets knocked down by Hyson, Ephex takes off his collar and just brutalizes Hyson with a chair and then finishes him with a burning hammer onto the chair. He then puts the collar back on and grabs the referee who then makes a very slow three count. Isys now has even the score with Hyson at one a piece but it does not end there. Hyson grabs the mic and says he wants Ephex in a match at the next 2CW show in Utica NY and doesn't care what it is. Ephex then says he has done all the garbage matches he can stand and if Hyson wants him that bad in Utica then e will have to accept this match, a 30 minute Iron man wrestling match. He then eggs on Hyson by saying, "you can wrestle right Mr. Hardcore?" Hyson accepts that match and we now have two great matches lined up for the next 2CW show in Utica NY on October 21st.

Overall another exciting show by 2CW. These guys bust their asses for the fans and give them their money's worth. Once again the next 2CW show is in Utica, NY on October 21st at the Field of Dreams Sports Complex and we have two big matches signed already.
