Hello 2CW Fans!!! What an AMAZING way for 2CW to start 2007 last night at the Pastime Athletic Club in Syracuse, NY. The place was packed with over 300 Loud and Energetic Fans! From top to bottom this was and action packed show with something for everyone. Lets get to the results..............
MATCH #1
"Main Event" Jason Axe vs. AJAX 820
(WINNER: "Main Event" Jason Axe)
This match was fought under "Main Event" rules as Axe pretty much made up the rules as the match went along. Axe was counted out after a 10 count and then made an announcement that in a "Main Event" there was a 20 count not a 10. Then after having AJAX in a submission move, AJAX got to the ropes only for Axe to make another announcement that a wrestler can only get 1 rope break a match. But soon after that announcement Axe made AJAX tap out. Great match to start the show with as these two young men are on the rise in 2007. Keep an eye on Axe as you will hear more from this up and coming star later in the show.
MATCH #2
J D Love vs. Loca Vida
(WINNER: J D Love)
In a return match from the last 2CW show these two charismatic wrestlers started off with a dance off. This was without a doubt the funniest moment of the evening. To watch J D Love in the middle of the ring has to be seen to believe. But back to the match itself. These two lit each other up with some very nasty chops. Back and forth action spilled to the floor and Loca was going to go to the Basketball hoop again for another crazy dive only to be stopped by Love this time. Love fought with him back to the ring where he picked up the 3 count for the win. After the match Love teased the crowd that he was going to show his ass but to the delight of the fans in attendance he did not.
MATCH #3
DiZZiE vs. "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards
(WINNER: DiZZiE)
This was the 2CW debut of "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards who is fresh off another tour of Japan with NOAH. What a great match between the fan favorite DiZZie and the new kid Edwards. This was an amazing match with some very impressive moves back and forth. Plenty of near falls as they fought in and out of the ring. Edwards has more moves in his book than anyone I have watched on a Monday night in years. The business looks bright if these two young men are the future. DiZZiE picked up the win with a roll up to the surprise of Edwards. GREAT MATCH!!
MATCH #4
The Killer Steves vs. All Money is Legal
(WINNERS: The Killer Steves)
These two tag teams have been in a feud since the debut of 2CW. They have wrestled each other plenty times in and out of 2CW and all those matches have been superb. This match was no different. Watching these two teams in the ring makes you think of great matches like the Rock N Roll Express vs. The Midnight Express. Lots of great action with plenty of double teams moves and aerial moves from AMIL. The Steves picked up the win in this chapter by using AMIL finishing move on themselves. Also wanted to note that a fan in the crowd had a great sign that read.... CRYME TYME FEARS AMIL. If you have not seen AMIL then you need too as they are the real deal not the ripoffs on Monday Night.
MATCH #5
Zaquary Springate III vs. Gordy Wallace
(WINNER: Zaquary Springate III)
These two guys have fought in a No Holds Barred match in October, a Fans in the front row have a strap match in November and now tonight they will fight it out in an old fashion Lumberjack Match. Each side had 5 guys on the outside to even the odds as we all know how it works. You get dumped out of the ring guys will toss you right back in. They also might get a few shots in if they don’t like you. These two fought back and forth and put some big time punishment of each other as this feud is just heating up. The finish came when one of the lumberjacks, J D Love, used a fireball to blind and burn Gordy’s face. Springate then picked up the win as Gordy rolled around in pain.

The fans got to meet the NWA Heavyweight Champion TNA’s own The Monster ABYSS!!
MATCH #6
Slyck Wagner Brown vs. Isys Ephex
(WINNER: Isys Ephex)
This match was without a doubt one of the best matches in 2CW history. These two wrestlers showed us what wrestling is all about. It reminded me of a match between Chris Benoit and the late Eddie Guerrero. This was the second meeting between these two young wrestlers as Slyck picked up the win in the first match. Fans were anticipating this return match and they were not disappointed at all. The crowd was HOT for this mach. and were on their feet for all of the action. Plenty of 2CW chants!! One of the craziest moments in the match came as Slyck leaped over the ropes to Isys on the floor and both men went over the guardrail into the front row on to the Fans from the momentum. After all of the near falls and suplexes and powerbombs and in and out of the ring action Isys finally picked up the win with his feet on the ropes to even these two at one match a piece. Lets hope we get a tie breaker out of these two in the future.
MATCH #7
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
NO HOLDS BARRED
ABYSS vs. Brother Runt
(WINNER: ABYSS)
This match was for the NWA Heavyweight Championship as the Champ Abyss put the title on the line against 2CW’s Brother Runt. Runt grabbed the mic before the match and said he has been with 2CW from the start and that this match was not about the NWA Title but it was about 2CW and that he was gonna kick Abyss’s ass in his 2CW Debut. Lets just say this was a crazy match that saw these two fight all over the arena and through the merch and food area knocking over tables and everything in their way. Once back in the ring they used chairs and more table and then thumbtacks. As Runt was setting up Abyss for his finisher the "Main Event" Jason Axe came out to distract Runt. He was on the mic and was yelling at Runt that he is a "nobody and should not be in this match as he is not a Main Event caliber wrestler and he is a wash up". Runt yelled to the crowd "that this kid does not want to open up this can". As Runt was talking he turned around and walked into a Black Hole Slam onto the tacks from Abyss. 1-2-3 and it was all over. Afterwards Axe got in and started to beat on Runt only to have Runt fight back and dump Axe out of the ring. Runt then thank the fans for all the support and stood in the ring to celebrate with the fans.
What an amazing show and we want to thank all those great fans that support 2CW. Also want to thank all those fans that brought out cans of food for the food drive that 2CW had with their partner the Salvation Army. We have the greatest fans and it showed that they care. THANKS!!
