APRIL 28TH RESULTS AND DIZZIE IS THE FIRST CHAMPION
HELLO 2CW FANS!!!
Well the Livin' on the Edge weekend has come and gone and it was just off the charts crazy. On April 28th 2007 2CW crowned it's first ever Champion and name is...
DIZZIE!
Right after winning the title Fan Favorite DIZZIE blasted the fans for supporting Slyck Wagner Brown, who had just been put through a ladder that extended from the ring apron to the guardrails VIA DVD. He told all those fans to screw off and had some other choice words for Slyck. After a slap to Slycks face he was laid out and folks we have a feud now for the 2CW title. Champion DIZZIE will have to have eyes in the back of his head as Slyck is gunning for him.
Also on the show we saw the debut of TNA's Samoa Joe. What an amazing match with "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards. These two went at it for about 15 minutes before Joe took him out with the Musclebuster. DAMN!!!
Then maybe the craziest match of the night was Tables Match between The Killer Steves and All Money is Legal. There was an added stipulation to this match as the loser will leave 2CW for 90 days. Well after the first referee Keith Harris was laid out by Studly Steve, Referee Ron White came out to check on Harris and then he was laid out also. The referee Jonathan Ashe came out to check on the other two and was greeted by the Steves and the used a fishermans suplex and put him through a table. The place was going absolutly nuts and then Dave Hebner came to ring and said he would take charge. Studly was put through a table when Pusha came from the top rop to the floor with an X-Factor. Then we saw All Moeny is Legal try and put Steve Kruz through a table 7 TIMES before it would break!!!!! You have to see it to believe it!!!
The night started with a bang or should I say a whistle as "FONZIE" Bill Alphonso made his way to ring. He told the 2CW crowd he was there to be the manager of the Main Event Jason Axe. Well that didn't help much as Brother Runt showed up on the 2CTron and distracted Axe and DIZZIE rolled him up to advance to the finals. Axe was going nuts as he wants to destroy Runt now. Only time will tell when these two will meet again.
In the other Semi we have Zaquary Springate III taking on Slyck Wagner Brown. Very good back an forth action that finally saw Slyck pick up the win by submission and move on to the finals where he met DIZZIE.
"Hurricane" John Walters took on Isys Ephex in what I would say was a mat classic. These two went back and forth the whole match until Isys picked up the pin. Great match.
Gordy Wallace pinned JD Love after hard fought match. These two guy were feuding last year and it looks like the hatred is still there. DAMN those chops from Love look like they hurt.
And in a 3 Way we had Ajax820 pick up the victory against LoCa ViDa and Kevin Grace. Before the match had started they had a dance off in the ring and I thought I saw someone from Dancing with the Star there to get them on next years show.
All in all it wAs the greatest weekend for 2CW. From CW Anderson being the mystery guy in the tournament to DIZZIE winning the 2CW title it was just crazy. But one thing is for sure and that is DIZZIE is the first Champion in 2CW history and he has plenty of guys gunning for him but none more than Slyck Wagner Brown.
